Dental Implants

Implants are screws that are placed in the bone on which crowns or dentures can be placed to replace missing teeth.  If you are keen to pursue this option, please discuss this with your dentist who can make a referral to someone trained in implants.  The procedures vary greatly from case to case but would generally involve a surgical procedure to place the implant.  The implant will be left for a period of time to allow the bone to heal around the implant.  After a few months the top of the implant will be exposed and work will then begin over a few visits to place the crown or bridge.
